Athlor was a ground-breaking dream and patch creator who distributed his work for free on Athlor's Dream Depository, alongside the Furcadia official patch site. His laser tag games would see dozens of minimally-reskinned clones, including the Cabbit Lazer Tag guild.
The Borg Bar
This dream is odd but with unique Borgish graphics. It includes a bomb layer for fun that drops a bomb when you USE it (ctrl-u). It has a 5 second delay and can kill you like walking into the force field. Death really just sends you to the Borg Regeneration Chamber.
Carnage and Anarchy
?
This is kind of the EVIL version of Phaser Tag. 3 weapons include a phaser, flamethrower and machine gun. All feature the new bullet-proof weapon routine using Mage Rooster's 'Furre Is Solid' technique as suggested by Guardhorse. The black stone floors are safe areas. Also has an Electric chair in the center for Frying your furre fiends, err...friends.
Athlor's Cemetery
This was my third dream and even though it has patches it is still fast loading. It even has the occasional owl hooting and wolf howling for atmosphere. These graphics I snagged from a single screenshot of a game except for the fence which I made.
Combat
This dream was inspired by a combat bot I saw being used in a dream. I thought it could be done better without a bot. The arena allows only 2 furres to enter and you have to physically try to hit the opponent while trying to dodge. It then randomly rolls whether your hit did damage and updates the HP left. The 1st player to reach 0 is ejected from the arena and triumphant music for the victor. The game resets when the winner leaves the arena. FINALLY, debugged and uploaded! Super-fast loading!
Dizzyland
?
The concept of a theme park has been done before but never with graphics like this. The rollercoaster pieces were snagged from Rollercoaster Tycoon. It also has a 4 furre Furre-Go-Round and 8 furre Furre-Lift. This ride I never seen before but thought it was a good idea and works well. The DS code is as tight as possible but still may be laggy with a dozen or more furres in the dream at the same time. If I ever come back to this dream, I'd like to add a real wave pool that tosses a furre up noticably when the wave goes by.
DnD Beastiary
?
Deep below the Garinthian Castle lies The Beastiary. Somebody let the Beasts loose and you can try playing one. This dream introduces my D&D Monster patch. Among the disturbing creatures you can be are Gargoyles, Spiders, Wyverns and other Demons. For fun it also includes the Mage Wars D&D Magic Core in additional you have a non-magical attack.
MageWars
?
This dream is a magic-user spell casting arena. The spells are loosely based on Official Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition rules. There are 3 spellbooks Levels 1 - 3 with 4 spells each.
Phaser Tag
The first Laser Tag dream on Furcadia and the code was done before the update went online. A dream where chaos and arnarchy reign. 3 weapons include a phaser, flamethrower and plasma bombs. The gray stone floors are safe areas. Have fun and die. I plan on updating this dream and use the bullet-proof 'furre is solid' routines that Carnage And Anarchy and on use now.
Moderna
This was my first dream design. I wanted to see just how different looking you could make a dream without using a patch. This dream is super-fast loading and perfect for a unique personal chat area.
Rave
?
This was my second dream but the first to use patches. I did most of the new graphics myself. The idea was inspired by several dance club dreams and I took it to the next level. Of course the rave had to be in a warehouse. It has a disco floor, flashing floodlights and a manual floodlight for impact. Eight excellent XG midi songs are included to keep them furre's dancing all night long.
Star Trek Battles
?
On a different tangent, this dream features my Star Trek ship player patch. The ships were rendered using trueSpace. The map is maximum-sized because it represents the entire galaxy, divided into 4 quadrants. You start with a Phaser and the ability to cloak. You may find other objects that are useful too! There are also a few spacial anomalies thrown in as well. Team up or go it alone!
